The 25th Annual World’s Largest Block Party at Old Saint Pat’s ChurchOld St-Pats

The Old St. Pat’s World’s Largest Block Party is attended by over 25,000 people and features great music and food. It’s also known as a huge singles party, and Old St. Pat’s claims that over 80 couples have met at the block party and later married. That’s one reason why Oprah Winfrey has dubbed it “the place to meet your match”.

STYX, REO Speedwagon & 38 Special at Charter One Pavilion/Northerly Island

Styx - 1981 - Paradise TheaterThis is where you’ll find your guides on Friday night at 7pm (weather permitting.) Northerly Island is the home of the new Charter One Pavilion, and happens to be conveniently located right next to Burnham Harbor, where we keep the boat docked.  Can anyone say “Friday Night Picnic?”

“One of the most beloved rock bands of the seventies and eighties, Styx became the first band of all-time to release four consecutive double platinum albums. Today Styx is a much sought after live act whose epic shows feature the classic rock staples “Come Sail Away,” “Lady,” and “Mr. Roboto.”



Benfest in Saint Ben’s

2215 West Irving Park Road (Oakley and Irving – in St. Ben’s. Of course.) Friday from 5pm–11pm , Saturday from 3pm–11pm. $5 or $10 entry fee

Food, arts and crafts, music and more at a church.  Dave Barnes on Friday night and Hello Dave on Saturday night.  Proceeds benefit St. Benedict Church.
